Women who are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or are currently breastfeeding should not receive Dysport or BOTOX injections. In rare cases, patients have learned that they are allergic to Dysport or BOTOX injections. If you’re concerned about these allergies, discuss this treatment with your doctor before receiving treatment. If you are currently taking antibiotics, Dysport or BOTOX injections will not be as effective, and we recommend scheduling your appointment for a few days after you stop taking your antibiotics. Some other conditions that preclude use include ALS, myasthenia gravis or Lambert-Eaton syndrome.
