I’ve been a faithful customer of Barris Laser & Skin Care for almost 6 years now. As a strawberry blonde I have vary blonde eyebrows and eyelashes – almost translucent. Although being a ginger is beautiful and unique, I don’t love the barely-there brows and lashes; I prefer my eyes and brows to pop! Maybe I’m vain, but everyone has their “thing,” right? So, I have them dyed about every 3 weeks. I also get a brow wax because, why not? Getting my eyelashes and brows waxed and dyed is amazing because it saves me time in the mornings before work, I don’t have to worry about applying mascara or eyebrow pencil in my sleepy morning stupor, and I wake up instantly looking ready to go! It saves me so much money at the beauty store and I can roll out of the gym looking pretty darn good considering I’m fresh-faced. Bonus: the process is painless and I’m out in 30 about minutes!
I moved to Boulder ten years ago from California and tried some various estheticians around town but wasn’t happy with the results; I always ended up with thin and pointy brows – not really my thing. So I eventually found Barris Laser & Skincare and was hooked after my first visit. The ladies were all so friendly, accommodating, and I looked great when I walked out the door! That’s when I became a regular.
I now visit the wonderful gals of Barris monthly and my next treatment (we’ve given the service a nickname of the Lindsey Special) is for my wedding day! I feel completely comfortable putting my face into these girls hands just days before my “I do’s.”
I definitely indulge in more than my standard treatments at Barris, however. I’ve had massages, facials, IPL, and peel treatments. Every experience I’ve had there is amazing and I highly recommend them if you want to pamper yourself or are even just passionate about keeping your skin radiant and healthy.
We all deserve to do things that make us feel good and beautiful and this is my thing. Maybe your thing is a facial or laser hair removal. I could go to any one of the dozens of estheticians in town but I go to Barris because they always make sure I leave happy and feeling beautiful. They’re knowledgeable and they’re always glad to recommend products and answer any questions I have.
