Now in it’s 4th year, Boulder Lifestyle Magazine’s Derby Party benefitting Attention Homes is no longer a secret. To say that guests take their responsibility to dress up for the party seriously would be an understatement. So much seersucker, linen, madras, and as one member put it: “hats for days.”
The Derby is often called the greatest two minutes in sports, and this year was no exception. Many party guests got soaked during the downpour prior to the race, but conditions cleared in time for Boulder’s best and brightest to watch Nyquist make his push to the finish line for the win.
This year the #DerbyDays event featured live music by The Drunken Hearts, food by The West End Tavern and brews from Sanitas Brewing. Hang rolled cigars were also available from Palma Cigar Company & Cigar Bar Las Palmas. Another favorite tradition of the Kentucky Derby is the mint julep! If you’ve got a taste for this refreshing southern beverage, the Boulder Lifestyle Kentucky Derby Party is a can’t-miss event for you!
