Ditch the lash curler and mascara and say HELLO to a Lash Lift!

The days of clamping your lashes between those harsh metal curlers or messy, lash perm applications can be gone! How you ask? Create lift, curl, and definition to natural lashes with a Lash Lift!

What is a Lash Lift?

Lash Lift is semi-permanent lash curling that works with your natural lashes. It uplifts and curls them from the base of the lash, making them stand out and look longer. It’s often paired with an eyelash tint, to enhance the defining effect. When finished, your eyes look larger, your lashes look longer and fuller, and your entire face looks uplifted. Just wake up and get going with your beautiful lashes.

How it works

  1. The eyes and lashes are thoroughly cleansed, separating the bottom from the top (the last thing you want are your bottom lashes being curled upward!).
  2. Soft silicone pads are placed on upper eyelids with a gentle adhesive (not unlike the glue you would use for lash extensions).
  3. The lashes are thoroughly and carefully combed straight.
  4. A eye-safe perming solution is applied to prepare the lashes for curling. The solution will sit on your lashes for 5 to 10 minutes. Generally, if your hair takes longer to curl with a curling iron, it will take longer for your lash to adhere to its new shape.
  5. A setting solution is applied to the lashes, and they’re lifted upwards over the silicone pads.
  6. Finally, a nourishing lotion is added, which adds moisture back into the lashes. Sort of like when you dye your hair – you want to follow up with a luxurious conditioner after!

FAQs

The whole process should take no longer than an hour from start to finish.
So long as your artist is well-trained in the lash lift ways, your natural lashes are going to be 100% fine and healthy.

Avoid the following for the first 24 hours: mascara, getting them wet, steam, any form of moisture or humidity, and eye makeup. After that time, you can use your normal mascara. An eyelash curler will not be needed, and the use of one could damage the lashes. Use mild products for cleansing and avoid rubbing or applying force to the lashes. (Using waterproof mascara is discouraged because removal can be too harsh). Lashes can’t be exposed to heat for at least 48 hours after the procedure.

Nope! This method is not nearly as “curly” as the lash perm, so it ends up looking a lot more natural.
Not a single bit. The only remotely uncomfortable part will be that you’ll need to keep your eyes closed during the entirety of the service. Some artists even let you listen to headphones while they work – a perfect chance to catch up on your favorite podcast.

While it is very rare, a small percentage of individuals have an allergic reaction to the adhesive used for the service.
