We spend a lot of time getting to know your skin. We figured it was time you got to know us a little better. Meet the Barris Laser & Skincare team—four women who bring their own personalities, specialties, and plenty of experience to everything they do.
Behind every facial, laser treatment, and skincare recommendation is a real person who genuinely loves what she does.
Meet the women who make Barris, well, Barris.
DANA — THE ONE WHO STARTED IT ALL
Dana got her start in esthetics almost 30 years ago, and she’s been passionate about skin ever since. She’s seen plenty of skincare trends come and go, but her approach hasn’t changed much: thoughtful treatments, natural-looking results, and helping people feel comfortable in their own skin.
Outside Barris? She’s a mom of two, a daily hiker, a concert lover, and always up for tapas. She’s also hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, loves reformer Pilates, and once had a very different career path in mind: she went to the University of Vermont before working as a ski bum in Breckenridge.
SHELBY Y. — OUR OUTDOOR GIRL
Alpine paddleboarding, ice skating, national parks…Shelby loves an adventure. She’s equally passionate about helping clients feel more confident in their skin. Along with skincare treatments, she specializes in electrolysis, a permanent hair removal option that works on all hair colors, including those that lasers can’t effectively treat.
And yes, she practices what she preaches about SPF.
CONNIE — OUR COLORADO GIRL
A Colorado native and licensed master aesthetician, Connie brings experience, warmth, and a love of helping people look and feel their best. Along with skincare treatments, she offers permanent makeup—a little extra help for those who appreciate an easier morning routine.
She’s also a proud mom and grandma, an introvert (believe it or not!), and happiest spending time in nature. When she’s not at Barris, you might find her baking with her girls or hanging out with her pug, Hermès, and King Charles Spaniel, Theo. And yes, she has champagne taste.
SHELBY F. — OUR LASER LOVER
Shelby loves helping clients find their glow, and she’s especially enthusiastic about laser treatments. She also offers spray tans, because sometimes a little color is nice—without the sun damage.
When she’s not at Barris, she’s busy being a mom of two, spending time with her husband, and appreciating a really good brunch.
