Red light therapy (RLT) aims to solve skin issues by using low wavelength red light on the epidermis, which is the outer layer of skin. When the light is applied to your skin, the epidermis absorbs it and then stimulates collagen proteins. More collagen means that your skin will look smoother and fuller, which can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Red light therapy is also thought to reduce inflammation while improving circulation, which can give you a healthier glow.

Red Light Therapy benefits

Red LED stimulates collagen and elastin production and tissue repair which can reduce and even reverse the effects of aging and damage to skin and other bodily tissues. It does this by activating the cellular renewal process, while restoring and protecting the surface of the skin.

  • Stimulates collagen formation
  • Increases ATP {fuel for our cells}
  • Stimulates cell turnover
  • Minimizes mild scarring
  • Reduces hyper-pigmentation
  • Minimizes pore size
  • Reduces wound healing time
  • Reduces inflammation
  • Smoother and improved surface texture
  • Reduces pigmentation
  • Increases circulation and moisture retention

How it Works

During the 10 minute treatment session, the panel is placed over your face while you rest with your eyes closed. There is no sensation of heat or discomfort, however your face may appear flushed for approximately 10 minutes after due to the increased blood circulation. The treatment is simple, painless and extremely effective.

Skin improvement is noticeable after the first treatment but it is recommended to come in 2 times a week for the first 4 to 6 weeks for acne, and 2 times a week for 8-12 weeks for anti-aging.
